Two twin rooms share a family bathroom. An extra bed could be made up in one of the twin rooms to make it a triple, sleeping 9 if required. (Please read the Terms and Conditions regarding this extra bed.) Both rooms have a chest of drawers and one twin has a wardrobe with hanging space.

Second Double Bedroom

All the beds are made up with crisp white 100% cotton sheets and towels as well as feather duvets and pillows. (Please take note if you have an allergy to feathers.)

The sitting room has a wood burning stove (plenty of firewood supplied), two feather filled linen covered sofas, two comfy armchairs and bookshelves stacked with holiday novels.

The Sitting Room

The well equipped kitchen has a farmhouse table and place setting for 10. There is a 2 door Aga, (which we can turn off if requested), a separate oven/hob, integrated dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and French doors that open out onto the terrace. For outside dining on the balcony there is large granite topped garden table and umbrella that also seats 10. (Linen seats cushions for the outside are provided and stored under stairs).

The downstairs loo adjoins the well equipped utility room (washing machine, dryer and a small fridge for drinks) with good drying facilities for the wet suits and towels from the beach.

The study has a flat screen TV/DVD/Free View/WiFi, a card/jigsaw puzzle table and bookshelves full of holiday novels, DVD’s and board games. French doors lead out onto a small terrace that leads up to the back garden and outdoor shower, where you can wash the sand off your toes.

FACILITIES: Garden, Garage

The garage contains bicycles for your use. There is also a chest freezer stored here for your use.

Slate steps lead up to the front door where there are automatic security lights for those dark evenings.

To the right of the garage slate steps lead up to a small terrace area where you will find the outside shower. Carry on up the stairs around the back of the house and you will cross another small terrace area with seating for two.

Steps lead off this terrace area up to the different levels of the garden leading up the hill to meet Ethy Woods. At the top of the garden is a level area with further seating for 4.

As the house and garden are built on a slope there are a lot of steps/stairs and slopes so the house and garden are not ideal for the very elderly and infirm.  

HOUSEKEEPING

Waters Reach has a lovely housekeeper who cleans the house between lets from 10 a.m. and 4 pm on Friday, so we ask that you are kindly punctual with your departure time. She may be available for extra cleaning and sheet changes during your stay should you wish. (£70.00 to include sheet change - Please advise at time of booking.)

Arrival hampers purchased from the Lerryn River Stores are also available on request at an extra cost. (They are complimentary for any August, Christmas and New Year bookings.)
